Our Story
Crawl…Walk…Run...
That’s how we roll!
From the beginning, our vision has been to provide clean, consistent, high-quality strains of medical marijuana for qualified patients, with a goal to become Michigan’s most respected cannabis cultivator. Naturally, we feel that our CRAFT produces the best flower, yet the market offers many choices from talented growers. Ultimately the only control we have is over our cultivation practices, community involvement, and overall integrity. At its core, we are a cultivator providing medical marijuana to the wholesale market. More so, we have an opportunity to educate and introduce the attributes of VEGANIC CULTIVATION and the positive effect it has on the plants, the planet, and the people!
Whether long-lasting friendships, professional connections, family, or a personal relationship with the plant itself, our entire team has deep-rooted and time-tested connections with one another and with cannabis. The four Co-Founders have over 50 years of experience in business ownership, sales, marketing, distribution, technology, and logistics, combined with 40-years of direct industry experience. In addition to the founding partners and core team members, we have strategically aligned with industry leaders and some amazingly talented individuals to help us grow.
Whether born and raised, attended college or vacationed around the mitten, we are passionate about our beautiful state and incredibly proud to be at the forefront of Michigan’s cannabis market.
“Crawl, walk, run” has been our mantra from the begining. We have the foundation of a team that is poised and determined to become industry leaders, following in the footsteps of the trailblazers and hoping to change a few perceptions along the way!

The Pharm
Nestled on 40-acres of tranquil farmland in beautiful Southwest Michigan
It has been our strategy from the beginning to own and build our facility on farmland in order to operate on a campus capable of being sustainable and self-reliant while remaining discrete and professional. Additionally, we sought to find a community that would be accepting of our core philosophies, while providing the support necessary to accomplish our goals. The relationships we have developed with Wakeshma’s town leadership has aligned with our desire to own land for the purpose of future expansion in cultivation and processing. The overall footprint of the farm will allow us to expand beyond our current plan of three Class-C cultivation licenses.

We are strategically located between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. Both cities and their surrounding areas, have well established and fast growing cannabis markets, supporting both medical and adult-use consumers. Additionally, our proximity to Interstate 94 will provide excellent access to major markets such as Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Ann Arbor.
Our state-of-the-art cultivation facility is constructed on a portion of our 40 acres in this small farming community. The property is split by the natural waterway Little Portage Creek, which runs through the heart of a small forest, ultimately flowing south and feeding into the St. Joseph River. The farm is robust in natural resources, local vegetation, mature trees, and wildlife that are all indicative of Southwest Michigan. We have found a home that is quiet, secluded, and protected by farmland in all directions — providing a tranquil and safe environment for our team members, suppliers, and visitors of Pure Coast.

The first three phases of our 70,000 square foot cultivation facility will utilize the “front” section of the farm. We strategically chose this portion of the campus to maximize sun exposure, while also saving on start-up costs. The proper exposure allows us to utilize full-spectrum sunlight for plant growth, minimizing the dependency on artificial light, thus lowering our energy costs and environmental footprint.
Road facing, the facility is protected by newly planted trees for additional security, discreteness, and image. Operationally, utilizing the front section of the property, provides the best accessibility for team members, visitors and shipping.
The “back” part of the farm is an additional 25 acres that can be utilized in several ways. Additional greenhouses, seasonal outdoor grows, or a processing facility are all potentials and natural fits for this part of our campus. Regardless of how we choose to utilize the extra acreage, our goal was to own land that would provide options for growth.
We could not be more pleased with our choice of property and the township of Wakeshma!
